Bullish on Crypto
It’s no secret that the wide-scale use crypto is still to come. Sure, there are more places now than ever before that’ll accept Bitcoin and a handful of other coins, but there are magnitudes more who don’t. Cryptocurrencies no doubt one day will become as ubiquitous as cash and as easily recognised and accepted by the public at large, and to help it get that way there are a number of things everyone can do.
This list of ideas is by no means exhaustive, so if you’ve got other great idea or ways to support your favourite crypto, then do it! Let us know too and we’ll be happy to add it to our list of ideas.
Work on the Code
Almost every crypto project out there is open-source. The beauty of this is anyone can lend their expertise and knowledge to a project. If you’ve got coding skills, head on over to the official source repository (usually GitHub but check official sites for exact links) and submit a pull request. Quality coders are always welcome to submit improvements and work on bug fixes.
If you’re not sure where to look, join the official social groups (Reddit / Twitter / Discord / Telegram / etc) which are usually great sources of information and assistance.
Applications and Games
Don’t want to work on the source code but have other ideas? Great! Everyone is free to develop applications and games which integrate or utilise crypto. The more apps and games that are out there, the more widely known crypto becomes. If you come up with something cool be sure to let us know! We’ll be happy to publish your media release to help get your project out there.
Do you run your own business or can influence the decisions of the one you work for? Get them accepting digital currencies and the masses will flock to them. There are millions of crypto-enthusiasts in the world today looking for places where they can spend it.
By becoming an early adopter and accepting cryptocurrencies, you can help them become more mainstream and available to the masses.
Other Ways to Help
Be all about crypto!
Buy it, trade it, tell your friends about it. Use it as intended! Create smart contracts or use it to send encrypted messages. Tweet about it, blog about it. Get a bumper sticker and slap it on your car. Get a badge and wear it on your shirt.
What we’re trying to say is that by spreading word of crypto you can help more people find out about it and help change their lives and help cryptocurrencies flourish as well.
